Abstract
When discussing the educational reform of the international private law, one of the core courses in the special field of law recognized by the State Education Ministry, it is difficult not to mention the teaching of law in China. Recalling the development of law education and international private law teaching in China, the most serious problem is the separation of the teaching and practice of law - the result from the foreign model that China cannot be away from in the process of moving towards governing by law. Under the background of the 21st century, the reform of law education in China becomes a necessary step. With the establishment of the unified jurisdiction examination system, the higher education of law in China should be set in the field of professional education. Based on this point of view, the educational concept, the syllabus, the teaching contents and methods, the teaching staff and ways of examination for international private law teaching should undergo relevant change.
