MAX+plusII is the EDA software developed by Altera company in the United States,used for digital system design and the development of FPGA and CPLD.This paper introduces the process in which the mode 60 counter is designed with graph input and text input, consequently illuminates the general design method and course of digital system design, and proves MAX+plusII is important in digital system.
