Abstract
Large scale programmable logic device and EDA technology have taken the place of the traditional method of designing.The paper introduces a simple digital cymometer by using Top to Down method and the input ways of VHDL and graphic input on a CPLD chip,and presents the design based on MAX+PLUSⅡ.The circuit is simpler than that made in discrete component,practical circuit testing shows that the system is reliable.
