Abstract
Objective To study the clinical effects of radiofrequency thermocoagulation and target ablation on the lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion. Methods Fifty patients with lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion were treated with thermonucleolysis guided by CT or C-arm.The temperature was raised to 80-90℃ to heat the target, which can also duplicate the pains preexisted. The treatment course last for 4 cycles, 100s for one cycle. Results After the treatment, the satisfactory rate and excellency rate of clinical effect were 92%(46 patients). Conclusion Radiofrequency thermocoagulation and target ablation is an effective method for treatment of lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion.
