Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical effects of radiofrequency thermocoagulation and target ablation on the lumbear intervertebral disc protrusion. Methods 35 patients(included 20 males, 15 females, aged from 18 years old to 65 years old) with lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion were treated with thermocoagulation and target ablation guided by C-arm, and make a contrast analysis for efficacy. The temperature was raised to 80-90℃ to heat the target, whice can also duplicate the pains pre-existed. The treatment course last for 4 cycles, 100s for one cycle. Results Follow up with one to six months, 31 patients were treated effectively, the effective rate were 88.6%. Conclusions Radiofrequency thermocoagulation and target ablation is an effective method for treatment of lumbar intervetebral disc protrusion.
