The Analysis of the Road Safety Status and Countermeasures in China

Based on the traffic accident mechanism in the context of the increasing serious road traffic situations in China,road safety status and hazards were analyzed and studied.From the view of safety system engineering,dangerous behavior of humans and dangerous states of objects in the road traffic systems could be eliminated by implementing scientific and rational urban road traffic safety management method,reinforcing traffic participants′safety awareness and comprehensively coordinating the relationship among roads,traffic flow and road administrators.Based on the analysis of main road accident characteristics,methods to prevent and control accidents have been put forward,whichs can not only make a scientific foundation set up,but also give a direction for further research on safety.
