There are twenty- one works focusing on prostitute in the dramas of Yuan Dynasty. The prostitutes are devided into virgin prostitutes and bandits prostitutes. Bandit prostitutes are characteristic of poor family background,excessive sensuality,contradictory behavior,pungentness and acridness,resulted from insatiable desire.The purpose of the works is to warn people away from prostitute and concubine.
