Abstract
Treatment of dyeing and finishing effluents was carried out with electrochemical method. The optimum treatment was determined as follows: taking Fe-PbO2 / stainless steel-activated carbon as three-dimensional electrodes system,pH value of effluents 3,working electrodes space 6 cm,aluminium sulfate solution 0.15 mol/L,current density 28 mA/cm2,activated carbon 40 g,and electrolysis time 10 minutes.BOD5 /COD ratio of dyeing and finishing effluents was increased from 0.126 of origin to 1.71 after treatment with obviously improved biodegradability.
