Abstract

Cotton dyeing effluents are treated with biological contact oxidation process(O), hydrolysis acidification-biologica contact oxidation process ( A/O ) and double hydrolysis acidification-biological contact oxidation process respectively. The results show that the A/O process features higher removal of COD and chroma than those of O process,Adding another A/O segment in A/O process cannot improve the quality of outlet effluents. The quality of outlet effluents can be improved with A/O process combined with biological technology, coagulation sedimentation and ozone oxidation.
