Position and Function of Agricultural Universities in Training New-type Farmers

Constructing new socialist countryside is an important strategic decision of the Party Central Committee to implement the scientific development view.The key of constructing new socialist countryside lies in improving farmers' quality.To adapt to the development of the era,the agricultural universities should make full use of their advantages in information technology,talent resources and network information technology and so on to service the new socialist countryside construction and improve the new-type farmers' quality.The status of farmers' quality in China is analyzed,the advantages of agricultural universities are definited,and the ways to train the new-type farmers are studied.
