A Re-cognition to the Tone Pitch of Level Tone in the South Xinjiang Variant of Zhongyuan Mandarin Dialect of Xinjiang Han Dialect Area

The paper brings forward the doubt firstly about the conclusion made with a statistic method ten years ago by the author himself that the tone pitch of level tone in the south Xinjiang variant of Xinjiang Han dialect was [213],then analyzes from the latest achievements constituted in the last decade on dialect within and outside of Xinjiang,and finally concludes that the former conclusion of [213] for the tone pitch of level tone is incorrect,and that the tone pitch [24]of level tone prevailing in Yili district of Xinjiang represents the truth.
