Abstract

Objective:To study the effect of acupuncture in treating hyperlipemia due to atherosclerosis.Method:34 patients with apoplexy accompanied by hypertension were treated with acupuncture, and 34 healthy people with the same age and sex were set up as the control.Blood HDL and TC were detected before and after treatment.Result:Before acupuncture,Blood HDL-C in the treatment group was much lower than that in the control (P0.01).After treatment,HDL-C in the treatment group increased significantly (P0.01),and TC decreased notablely (P0.01).Conclusion:Apoplexy accompanied by hypertension was treated with acupuncure through the regulation of blood lipid.
