Abstract

Lead and zinc deposits on south margin of Altai Mountain are mainly distributed in Maizi area.In order to make a breakthrough in space and mineral type in ore prospecting,the paper set forth the major characteristics of geology, genetic type and ore controlling factors of lead and zinc deposits in Maizi area in detail and summarizes metallogenic regularities of lead and zinc deposit in Maizi area combined with regional tectonic evolution background and points out the orientation for lead and zinc deposit prospecting.
