Abstract

The Maomaochang lead and zinc deposit is one of the major deposit in the accumulation area of lead-zinc-silver deposits. The deposit occurs in the intersection part of NW and NE strike structures. The ore-beaing strata are mainly dolomite and dolomitic carbonate rocks in carboniferous system. It is considered that the deep part of the area is potential for ore prospecting. A great effort of prospecting should be made in future.
