Abstract

Isoamyl acetate was synthesized from acetate and isoamyl using composite ferric postassium salt as catalyst. The results show that when n(acetate) ∶n(isoamyl)=2.5∶1,dosage of the catalyst is 0.76 g,the reaction time is 2 h,water-carrying reagent cyclohexane is 5 mL, the esterification rate is up to 92.8%.
