Abstract
Objective:To investigate the etiology, incidence, clinical manifestation, imaging features and prognosis of hemorrhagic transformation(HT) after cerebral infarction. Methods:Retrospective analysis was performed in 96 patients suffering from HT after cerebral infarction during January of 2002 and July of 2008 in Suining Hospital. Results:The main causes of HT were diabetes, hypertension, atrial fibrillation and massive cerebral infarction, and morbility was 20.3%,and in the first week of infarction was 62.5%,the second week 31.2%,and after two weeks was 6.3%.Headache,vomiting,aggravated paralysis and conscious disturbance were the main appearances.CT and MRI scan demonstrated hemorrhagic or non-hemorrhagic type. Its mortality was 16.7%.Conclusion:For the early diagnosis and therapy of HT,CT or MRI scan is necessary for the patients with aggravation clinical course.
