Food Production and Food Security in Jiangxi Province

The issue of Chinese food security has been highly valued by the government. Jiangxi province is an important province for food production in south China. Since 1949, it has made a huge contribution to the Chinese food production and food security. But in the recent years, some new problems have been appeared and new challenges are being faced in the food production of Jiangxi Province. Based on the review of big achievement and the development process of Jiangxi's food production , this paper pointed out the key problems existing in food production of Jiangxi Province, and put forward the new countermeasures ,which insuring the Jiangxi's food security in the new stage of 21st Century.
