Brief of the Inner Tension of Practical Materialism ——A Criticism of Practical Ontology

Starting from the revolution and reform that Marxist Philosophy caused in Old Philosophy, this article confirms a rational and revolutionary nature with which Marx has a practical perception of things, of human being and of man's object capability. However, Marxist denies neither Materialism nor nature which is considered as the presupposition of Materialism. But currently the popular practical ontology overlooks the prerequisite of nature and its law as to practice which Marxist always emphasizes. It also overlooks the objective function of reforming the world that the practical materialism has. Therefore, it gets itself stuck in idealism. The article points out that the admission of presupposition of nature constitutes the inner tension of Practical Materialism.
