Abstract

The paper deals with a revision on some species of Machilus Nees(Lauraceae)from China,five species are reduced to synonyms,viz. Persea kadooriei Kosterm. Machilus wangchiana Chun,Machilus longipedunculata S. Lee et F. N. Wei M. chekiangensis S. Lee, Machilus polyneura H. T. Chang M. pauhoi Kanehira, Machilus suaveolens S. Lee M. gamblei King ex Hook. f.,Machilus lipoensis C. S. Chao ex Song M. glaucifolia S. Lee et F. N. Wei.
