Abstract
On the one hand, the important theory of Three Representatives plays a role of theoretical basis for the Chinese communist party over the long run in this new century, and has made the party transformed finally from a revolutionary party to a ruling one in theoretical characterization. On the other hand, it even serves as the practical foundation for maintaining the ruling status of the Chinese communist party in a long term. After a reflection and the positive or negative experience in developing socialist enterprise both abroad and at home, this theory has produced some new thinking ways, new ideas, and new conclusions for maintaining and developing the party's leadership, political capacity and its leading level.
