Abstract

One of breakthroughs of contemporary translation studies is to put translation into a large cultural context to examine,that is,the culture turn of translation studies.It is an objective fact that there are differences existing between different cultures.Then how to deal with those differences becomes a hot topic.This paper argues that there are two kinds of attitudes towards cultural factors of different layers in translation: cultural transplantation and cultural translation.Accordingly,one can employ methods of alienation and adaptation.
