Observation of internal fixation with locking plate in the treatment of tibial plateau fractures

Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical effects of internal fixation with locking plate in the treatment of tibial plateau fractures.Methods Forty-six patients with tibial plateau fractures were selected as objects and they were evenly divided into observation group in which the patients were given internal fixation with locking plate and control group in which the patients were given internal fixation with conventional plate.The clinical effects of the patients in both groups were observed.Results The total effective rate,fractures healing time and full weight bearing time of the patients in the observation group during the first year after surgery were better than those of the patients in the control group(P0.05).Six months and twenty months after surgery,the motion range of knee joint,the angles of TPA and PA of the patients in both groups had no statistical significance(P0.05).Conclusion Treating tibial plateau fractures with internal fixation with locking plate which has better curative effects is worth promoting and applying clinically.
