Clinical analysis of locking plate internal fixation in treatment of 65 cases of tibial plateau fractures

Objective To investigate the clinical effects of internal fixation with locking plate in treatment of tibial plateau fractures. Methods The 130 cases of fractures of tibial plateau were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 65 cases in each group. The observation group was treated by internal fixation with locking plate, while the control group was treated by hollow nail, then the treatment effects of two groups were compared. Results Postoperative hospitalized time and fracture healing time of observation group were less than control group, the excellent rate of observation group was also higher than control group, there were significant differences between two groups (P 0.05). Conclusion The treatment of internal fixation with locking plate can get a strong and effective internal fixation for fractures of tibial plateau. It is good for early rehabilitation exercise of the joint function so that can lower the post-operative complications with advantage of safe and minimally invasive; it is worthy to be used in clinical surgery widely.
