Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical effects of endovenous laser closure by ultrasound-guided for the treatment of the patients with perforating veins by percutaneous puncture in the treatment of the patients with chronic venous insufficiency complicated with incompetence of the calf perforating veins of the lower extremities. Methods Ninty-eight patients with 104 limbs with perforating veins insufficiency of great saphenous varicose veins underwent ligation of the whole great saphenous veins combined with endovenous laser closure by ultrasound-guided from September 2012 to June 2013.The recovery condition of skin ulcer and skin pigment of the patients after operation were observed. Results The patients with perforating veins insufficiency in 104 limbs with 98 insufficient perforating veins were confirmed to be closed by ultrasound examination and skin ulcer of the patients are also recovery. Conclusion Endovenous laser closure by ultrasound-guided for the treatment of the patients with perforating veins insufficiency is a kind of safe, effective and minimal-invasive modality.
