Abstract

AIM:To investigate the expression of NGF in different stages of injured rat molar teeth. METHODS: Models of injured rat molar teeth were established and immunohistochemical staining of NGF in trigeminal ganglia was carried on. RESULTS: The expression of NGF was low in the normal groups, increased in 1d and 3d groups, but decreased in 5d groups. In 9d groups it was similar to that in the normal groups. CONCLUSION: NGF may take part in the response and restoration after teeth injury.
