A Theoretical Analysis on Income and Income Gap

Income, is a basic problem in economics, on which many famous economists, including Marxists, have made an in-depth research. Income, in conventional sense, can be defined as any kind of economic return obtained by the subject through any possible channel. Income gap, accordingly, means the gap of income between individuals. However, if probed deeper, the concept of income gap covers not only the gap between individuals in their ultimate disposable income, but also that between families in per capita income. In addition, in studying the problem of income gap, one still needs to consider the relationship between the taking of study lime and the way of distribution.
