The experimental research of Weiweixiao Granules treating on rats with chronic atrophic gastrictis

Abstract
Objective: To discuss the therapeutic effect of Weiweixiao Granules on chronic atrophic gastritis of rats.Methods: Hot saline instillation method was used to produce rat experimental chronic atrophic gastritis model,the levels of rats' blood gastrin(GAS) and motilin(MTL) were detected after treatment with Weiweixiao Granules for 12 weeks,then observed the histological change of rats' gastric mucous membrane of each group.Results: The contents of GAS and MTL in the chronic atrophic gastritis model of rats decreased markedly(P0.01 or P0.05).After the treatment of Weiweixiao Granules atrophy for 12 weeks,the level of GAS and MTL increased apparently(P0.05),the damage index of gastric mucous membrane decreased significantly,and the number of rats with gastric mucous membrane atrophy,intestinal metaplasia and abnormal hyperplasia decreased clearly.Conclusion: Weiweixiao Granules have some good therapeutic effects on some diseases associated with chronic atrophic gastritis.
