Abstract

Objective To explore the etiology and clinical features of acute drug-induced liver disease and promote the level of clinical diagnosis and therapy.Method The clinical data of 51 patients meeted with the diagnostic criteria of acute durg-induced liver diseases were reviewed and analyzed. Results The drugs involved were Chinese herb medicine in 33.3%,antibiotics in 19.6%,antitumor drugs in 11.8%,antituberculosis drugs in 7.8%,antithyroid drugs in 7.8%,cardiovascular drugs in 5.9%,hypoglycemic drugs in 3.9%,psychotropic drugs in 3.9%,non-steroidal antiinflammatory drugs in 2.0%,others in 0.5%.Among all these cases, there were 22 cases hepatocyte damage,24 cases cholestaric, mixed damage 5 cases. Conclusion Many drugs can lead to acute drug-induced liver disease. We should strengthen the mornitoring of liver function in order to diagnose and treat it timely.
