Science History in Education and Education in Science History

Abstract

Considering the function of science history studies in science education,we have found through our analysis of some cases that for a long time the purpose of education determined the educational function of science history studies which can be called the history of science in education. With the development of the research in science history and the establishment of its scientific and pedagogical studies we understand the educational function of science history through science history studies. which can also be called education in science history. We hold that the change from science history in education to education in science history can avoid the whig interpretation of the science history and the distortion of the history of science.It can also help us truly understand the education function of science history structure.
