Abstract

Objective Using randomized multi-factor method to retrospectively analyse two operation methods. Methods Seven hundreds and thirty-five cases of intramembrane lesions of parotid gland were treated with two operation methods. One hundred twenty cases randomly selected from each operation treatment were divided into two groups. The post-operation deformity, facial paralysis and Fery′s syndrome were observed from 7 weeks to 3 years. Results There were significant differences in post-operation deformity , facial paralysis and Fery′s syndrome. Conclusion Improved operation methods can effectively reduce the post-parotidectomy complications.
