Abstract
Objective To study the characteristic of the improved operation method of parotid gland.Methods Two hundred and twenty cases were randomly divided into two group and accepted traditional operation or modified one.The post-operation deformity,facial paralysis,Fery's syndrome and fistula were observed from 4 months to 3 years.Results There were significant differences between the two groups in the post-operation deformity,facial paralysis and Fery's syndrome.Conclusion The improved operation method of parotid gland can effectively reduce the post-parotidectomy complications.
