On the Influence of Intellectual Property Protection on International Trade and China's Countermeasures

The influence of intellectual property on international competitiveness of the enterprises of a country is growing and therefore, its protection is remarkably characteristic of international trade, which leads to tense conflicts in the area of trade-relevant intellectual property protection between the developed and developing countries, accompanied with the variation of the disposition of the international market and interest. The paper holds that it is imperative for China and other developing countries to have a good understanding of the impact of the intellectual property protection on international trade and to institute responding policies for intellectual property.
