Historical explanation and Historicism——Popper's Criticism on Historicism

Abstract

Popper holds there are no regularities in history but explanation of history,which is not objective.Historicism is stems from Theological Determinism.Popper believes that Historicism compactly related to the Theory of Monism Truth,thus it may transform into a totalitarian theory.In essence,to some extent,Popper's comment on Historicism is of some value.But Popper tries to replace Historicism by Historical Explanation,and it makes him run into Relativism.
