Abstract
Objective To study the operative techniques and effects of the microvascular decompression for the treatment of the primary trigeminal neuralgia. Methods Forty-six cases of the primary trigeminal neuralgia were treated with microvascular decompression. Results All of the cases were cured with lower operative damage and satisfactory. Conclusion The microvascular decompression was a better treatment for the primary trigeminal neuralgia.
