Clinical study of Daotan decoction on stroke with phlegm-turbidity disturbing mind in 60 patients

Abstract

Objective To observe the curative effects of Daotan decoction on stroke with phlegm-turbidity disturbing mind.Methods 120 patients were randomly divided into 2 groups,60 patients in treatment group treated with western medicine and Daotan decoction,and other 60 in control group with only western medicine,and the curative effects were measured after treatment 4 weeks.Results The total effective rate in treatment group was 55.0% and 36.7% in control group(P0.05);the total effective rate of TCM symptoms 63.3% in treatment group and 30.0% in control group(P0.05);the TCM symptoms scores in treatment group was much lower than that in control group(P0.05).Conclusion Daotan decoction is effective for apoplexy with phlegm-turbidity disturbing mind.
