Domestic and abroad development situation and conditions analysis for the IGCC power plants construction in China

Abstract

An overview of the development situation and tendency of IGCC power generation technology was proposed in this paper.The necessity of constructing IGCC power plants in China was discussed from the viewpoints,such as the feature of energy structure,the requirement of environmental protection,the water shortage and the capacity enlarging of predominant units.Based on the key technologies breakthrough and penetration of IGCC into the chemical industry,combined with the equipment localization and IGCC application potential in domestic power market,a comprehensive analysis on the basic conditions for building IGCC power plants in China was analyzed in detail.It shows that the development conditions for IGCC technology are mature,and it's time to rapid the application and development of this technology in China.
