Abstract
Chinese traditional culture is a splendid culture created by the Chinese nation in thousands of years,which affects our lives and restricts our education today.This paper starts with the basic connotation of Chinese traditional culture and deeply analyses its contemporary value.It suggests that we should have an appropriate attitude towards our traditional culture,and not only continue it,but also inherit and develop it with creative transformation.Therefore a comprehensive and rational understanding of Chinese traditional culture is of great practical significance to the building of a culture with Chinese characteristics,a good scientific concept of development and a harmonious society,and to the equal exchange of global cultures.
