Abstract

When producing ductile iron, the graphite morphology in cast iron often changes. Especially in making large cross-section ductile iron parts, the graphite of the casting center is often abnormal. Graphite metamorphosis can not be described by degradated spheroidization. It is not only vague in concept, but also misleading in improving the production process of ductile iron .
