Abstract
Based on the Cross Calibrated Multi-Platform(CCMP)remotely sensed wind, four new typhoon winds are generated by the Fujita pressure model, the Myers pressure model, the Jelesnianski pressure model and the Holland typhoon model. Then the SWAN model is used to simulate the typhoon wave caused by theMEARI.Comparisons between the simulated result and that from buoy data indicated that the symmetry typhoon models can effectively increased the accuracy of the typhoon winds and the simulation typhoon waves where lie from the typhoon center to 3to 5times of the maximum wind radius in the range. In the four kinds of the typhoon wind model's simulation results, the Holland typhoon model's simulation result is the best.
