Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effects of glassfiber Post and self-adhesive universal resin cement in restoration of residual root and crown on teeth. Methods Totally 82 residual roots and crowns after endodontically treatment were selected, include 40 anterior teeth and 42 posterior teeth. Results Patients were followed up in 12 months and 24 months after treatments,5 teeth failed to visit, after 12 months,1 post was broke,1 crown was lost, and there were no defect on the other 75 teeth after 12 months and 24 months. Conclusion Glass fiber-reinforced post core can be used as an ideal restoration material for the residual crown and root.
