Research on Living Problems of Floating Population in China

A large number of surplus rural labor forces in China travel to and fro between urban and rural areas, forming the floating population. Restricted by the supply of houses and its demand ability, the floating population could get relatively worse house and the community environment, compared with the population with urban household registration. On the consequence, they have been staying at the bottom of the society, and their future will be affected. The governments should carry on their own responsibility in solving the problem of inhabitation of the floating population to realize the stable and sustainable progress and the development of the society.
