Abstract
【Objective】To study the effect of L-arginine on lung ischemia-reperfusion injury in rabbit.【Methods】The ischemia-reperfusion rabbit was constructed and divided into three groups randomly: group A(no surgery),group B(ischemia-reperfusion) and group C(L-arginine +ischemia-reperfusion).The wet-dry rate(W/D),MDA content, serum NO concentration and the pathology of lung tissue were measured after 60min reperfusion.【Results】After 60min reperfusion,W/D and MDA in group C were lower than in those in group A and B(P0.05),while the concentration of NO and SOD were higher than those in group A and B(P0.05).The inflammatory changes of pulmonary tissue in group C was obviously less than in group B(P0.05).【Conclusion】L-arginine can prevent ischemia-reperfusion injury in rabbit lung in vivo.
