On the Chinese Character Rhetoric of the character-puzzle

Abstract

Character-puzzle and Chinese Character Rhetoric are both of distinct cultural features of the Chinese nation.Major rhetoric means used in Chinese Character-Puzzles fall into character-form rhetoric,character-sound rhetoric and character-meaning rhetoric.In different elements of form,sound and meaning,character-puzzles are of strong rhetoric function,which contributes a lot to improve the expressive effects of language.
