Abstract
Objective To study the relationship between the expression of oncogenes nm23,c-erbB-2,p53 in breast carcinoma and clinicopathological characteristics. Methods The expression of nm23,c-erbB-2,p53 was detected by immunohistochemical S-P methods in 76 cases of breast carcinoma and 10 cases of benign breast diseases. Results The expression of c-erbB-2 and p53 had significant difference between breast carcinoma and benign breast diseases(P0.05,P0.01).The expression of nm23 and c-erbB-2 in breast carcinoma was corelated with histological grades(P0.05,P0.01).The expression of the three geneproteins in breast carcinoma was correlated with axilliaris lymph node metastasis(P0.01),but had no correlation with histological types, age, tumor size(P0.05).There was negative correlation between the expression of nm23 and c-erbB-2,and between the expression of nm23 and p53(P0.01,P0.05),but there was positive correlation between the expression of c-erbB-2 and p53(P0.05).Conclusion Oncogenes nm23,c-erbB-2,p53 may play an important role in the development and progression of breast carcinoma. The combined detection of nm23,c-erbB-2 and p53 geneproteins has important significance for predition of the lymph node metastasis and the prognosis in breast carcinoma.
