Study on Formative Assessment in the Integrated English Course Teaching

Abstract

Formative assessment,aiming at evaluating the students'learning process,can provide effective feedback for teachers to improve teaching methodology and useful information for students to adopt proper learning strategy.By analyzing the data got from the questionnaire and interview,however,the current assessing system in Integrated English Course is mainly summative assessment,which can not meet the needs of students.Thus,establishing valid formative assessment system is a good way to facilitate the Integrated English Course teaching.
