Lichtenstein tension-free hernia repair clinical application

Objective To investigate the use of polypropylene mesh used in surgical procedures for adults Lichtenstein tension-free inguinal hernia repair in the benefits and lessons learned.Methods Group of Germany snake licensing polypropylene mesh of 312 cases of inguinal hernia patients Lichtenstein tension-free hernia repair,to observe surgery,wound pain,after the resumption of autonomy,complications and recurrence rate.The outcome of surgery for an average of 50 min;after 3～4 h patients can get out of bed activities;wound pain time 2 ～ 3 d.3 cases of hematoma after incision,no case of wound infection.10 cases foreign body groin flu.Follow-up 238 cases of 0.5～4.0 years,with 1 case of relapse.Conclusion Lichtenstein tension-free hernia repair is simple,rapid postoperative recovery,and very few complications,and recurrence rate of low efficacy of certain surgical indications may be appropriate to relax,is more advanced in recent years,a tension-free hernia repair operation.
