Abstract
AIM:To investigate the effect of proliferation and apoptosis on LoVo cells by matrine injections in vitro.METHODS:The inhibition of Matrine injections on Lovo cells was detected by trypanblau staining and MTT.Fluorescence microscopy and flow cytometry were applied to study cell apoptosis of LoVo cells.RESULTS:Matrine infections inhibited the proliferation of LoVo cells in a dose-dependent manner. After treated by matrine, cell apoptosis peak was observed by flow cytometry. The apoptosis rate was(7.3±1.5)% in therapeutic group, higher than that in control group(2.1±0.5)%.CONCLUSION:Matrine injection exerts some anticancer effect, possibly by inhibiting the cell proliferation and inducing the apoptosis.
