Abstract
On the basis of introducing the wavelet theory, wavelet transform is applied in the extraction at fault time in power system, and an example of one phase grounded based on MATLAB is introduced in 220 kV system. At the same time, this paper discusses the scale parameter influence on wavelet transform in terms of the different characteristic of availability signal and random signal under the wavelet transform, with wavelet transform used in computer protection.
