Clinical observation on Tongluoqushichubi Decoction in treating 60 cases of rheumatoid arthritis

Objective: To observe the therapeutic effect of Tongluoqushichubi Decoction in treating rheumatoid arthritis(RA).Methods: 27 patients in the control group were given western medicine Methotrexate tablets.60 patients in theraputic group,in addition to be based on the treatment of western medicine,were treated with Tongluoqushichubi Decoction.Results: ①The total effective rate in theraputic group was 93.33%,as compared with 81.48% in control group(P0.05) in near future effect.②Comparison of the difference of before and after treatment evaluation in the patients' joint inflammation index of the two groups: the difference of evaluation in the patients' joint pain index was significant(P0.05).The change of the difference of evaluation in the patients'swelling and disability index had not significance of statistics(P0.05).③RF disappeared in theraputic group was 57.14%,RF disappeared in control group was 27.27%,compared with two groups,it was significant(P0.05),compared with two groups of before and after treatment in ESR was significant(P0.05).The ESR difference of before and after treatment evaluation had not significance of statistics(P0.05).Conclusion: The results indicated the theraputic group Tongluoqushichubi Decoction compared with the control group(western medicine only) in releasing patients'joint pain symptom,the former is more quick than the latter.Tongluoqushichubi Decoction has better short-term effect.
