Abstract
Objective To evaluate the role of three- dimensional digital subtraction angiography (3D-DSA) in en-dovascular treatment for intracranial aneurysms. Methods 3D-DSA before and during endovascular embolization was performed in 60 cases with aneurysms, in which 40 cases were followed up by 3D-DSA 3 to 18 months after embolized. Results forty-eight cases were embolized completely under the direction of 3D-DSA and none of them ruptured later. The 40 cases that were followed by 3D-DSA were validated embolizing completely. Conclusion 3D-DSA can improve the security of embolization of intracranial aneurysms and embolization degree.
